Celebrate Paper Circle’s 20-year anniversary with our founder’s lifetime of artwork on display. Free and open to the public, light refreshments served. In 2003, artist and papermaker Sara Gilfert founded Paper Circle, a nonprofit papermaking studio, dedicated to the art and craft of papermaking, in Nelsonville. She has been committed to the nonprofit ever since, training apprentices and sharing the love of hand papermaking with the wider community. Her hope is to preserve and celebrate the joy, art, and craft of hand papermaking for more people to discover and fall in love with, just as she did.
