A decades-old early autumn festival is back after the pandemic!  The Simon Sorghum Syrup Fest takes place on a historical French-Appalachian farmstead.  In addition to the pressing of sorghum into syrup, there are to be heritage crafters and old farm equipment on display, ole-time music and country food. Sorghum-based baked goods to enjoy and to purchase are a festival specialty.  Parking and Admission are free. The farm is on Carey’s Run-Pond Creek Road, West Portsmouth, Ohio.
