Join Rural Action for another exhilarating and wintry Sunday Creek Owl Prowl. Renowned state park naturalist Pat Quackenbush will be on-hand with a live owl! Bring the kids and let them dissect an owl pellet or create an owl-themed craft. After learning about these awesome predators, the group will head outside for a short walk and owl calling session. Burr Oak Lodge will be serving a complimentary meal of soup beans and cornbread along with hot chocolate before the event. There may even be cookies! Remember to dress warmly, bring a flashlight or headlamp, and minimize noise so as not to scare away nearby owls. We hope to see you there!
