“Rise Of The Phoenix” Fundraiser Set For Thursday

"Rise of the Phoenix," the latest in a series of benefits to aid fire-damaged businesses on West Union Street in Athens, is scheduled for Dec. 18, featuring 20 local acts at four uptown venues.

WOUB talked with organizer Hil Hackworth, who set up the event to assist The Union Bar & Grill's rebuilding efforts.
