An Ohio sheriff won't confirm that a 52-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy are the suspects taken into custody after a man who responded to a Craigslist job ad was found dead in a shallow grave.
Noble County Sheriff Stephen Hannum indicated in an email Friday that he wasn't ready to identify the pair.
The sheriff's office said Hannum would release more information at 11 a.m. EST.
The Akron Beacon Journal reported on the suspects' ages and said the man was from Akron and the boy was an area high school student.
The Florida man's body was found this week in a remote area about 80 miles east of Columbus.
Hannum says another jobseeker from South Carolina who responded to the same bogus Craigslist ad was shot but escaped.
