Nelsonville Police Looking For Missing Child

Update 11:26 a.m. Nelsonville police have cancelled the search for Corey Morris.  Corey was found with friends this morning.


Nelsonville police are looking for a young boy after he walked to a McDonald's on Watkins Street last night and has not been seen since.

An officer tells WOUB News 9-year-old Corey Morris walked to the restaurant from his house.  He was seen at the McDonald's between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. yesterday.

Police are now checking with family and friends to see if anyone knows Corey's whereabouts. Corey is described as 4 feet tall, 125 pounds with blond hair and red bangs. He was wearing a camoflauge t-shirt, blue and white hooded sweatshirt, jeans and Nike sneakers.
