Block Grant Awarded To Ironton

Ironton is getting $125,000 from the state to make street improvements.

The funding was announced today and is from the Community Development Block Grant Program.

The Ohio Department of Development says the improvements will be made in the Ohio University/Medical Campus area.

The project is supposed to create 20 jobs.
