Perry County Deputies Arrest Alleged Bank Robber

Sheriff's deputies have one man in custody in connection with a November 15 bank robbery in Perry County.

Perry County Sheriff William Barker said deputies arrested 37-year-old John Meikle on Saturday for having stolen property from the People's National Bank in Thornville.  He was charged with aggravated robbery.

Meikle is currently in the Southeastern Ohio Regional jail.
