A judge sentenced a Coolville man to a decade in prison for having sexual relations with a teenage girl.

Harley Wilson, 35 of Coolville, was sentenced to 10 years in prison on Friday by Athens County Common Pleas Judge L. Alan Goldsberry for having sexual relations with a 13 year-old girl and compelling her to submit by force.

Wilson pleaded guilty to three counts of rape and admitted to having unlawful sexual conduct with a minor during May and June 2013, according to Athens County Prosecutor Keller Blackburn.

“Not only will Wilson go to prison for ten (10) years,” Blackburn said, “he will also be registered as a Tier III Sexual Predator for his lifetime.”

That means that once released, he will be required to report to the Sheriff’s Office every 90 days in the county where he lives. The community also will be notified of his residence.

Once released from prison, Wilson will have an additional mandatory five years of Post Release Control.
