The Mid-American Conference selected senior Ohio guard Nick Kellogg as its player of the week for the East Division for the week of Dec. 30.
In two games, Kellogg scored a combined 40 points and brought in 15 rebounds in two Bobcat wins over Longwood and UNC Asheville.
Kellogg scored 17, yanked down six rebounds, and dished four assists in the win over Longwood.
He was also instrumental in Ohio's comeback win over UNC Asheville when he dropped 23 points, nine of which coming in the second half. An assist to a Stevie Taylor three from Kellogg with under six minutes to play against the Bulldogs gave Ohio the lead late, propelling the team to victory.
This is the second time Kellogg has garnered the award this season.
Ball State forward Majok Majok took home the award for the West Division.
