According to Monday's survey from Auto Club AAA, the cost for a gallon of regular gas in Ohio is averaging $3.92.

That's 23 cents higher than a month ago, and 30 cents higher than last year at this time.

In Southeastern Ohio, the average is around $3.89 per gallon.

Other Ohio averages range from $3.77 in the Youngstown area to $3.97 in the Cleveland area.

That's still cheaper than the highest recorded average price in Ohio, which was $4.15.
