Quentin Poling Earns Another Honor: MAC Scholar Athlete

The awards just keep rolling in this week for Ohio linebacker Quentin Poling.
Two days after being named the Mid-American Conference East Division Defensive Player of the Week, the redshirt sophomore was named the MAC Male Conference Scholar Athlete of the Week.
Poling is a Pre-Exercise Physiology major and has a 3.624 grade point average.
In the game Thursday against Idaho, Poling led the Bobcat defense with 12 total tackles, 10 of which were solo. Poling also had a sack, a forced fumble and a pass breakup.
The Bobcats are in Athens for their home opener against Marshall on Saturday, September 12. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
