The McDermott man who was driving a car that crashed, killing two of his passengers, has been indicted by a grand jury in Scioto County.
David Harshberger, 40, has been indicted on two counts of Aggravated Vehicular Homicide, two counts of Weapon Under Disability and one count of Possession of Drugs.
In July, Samantha Tackett, 30, was holding her two-year-old daughter in her lap when Harshberger apparently lost control and hit an embankment and they were thrown from the car.

At the time of the accident, a trooper said drugs or alcohol may have contributed to the crash.
No one was wearing a seat belt.
Harshberger was not hurt in the accident.
