A Jackson County businessman became the ninth member of JobsOhio board of directors.  Governor John Kasich appointed Lawrence Kidd to the new private, non-profit organization tasked with bringing jobs to the state.  

 

Kidd is the Chief Executive Officer of Reliable Staffing Services and RSS Professional, LLC in Jackson.  He served as the chair of the Jackson County Economic Development Board and co-founded a program aimed to create 10,000 jobs in 10 years in southeastern Ohio.

 

Kidd's appointment will last four years; his term will expire in July 2015.
