Man Pleads Not Guilty In Brick Theft

The man accused of stealing bricks famous for their Nelsonville roots plead not guilty today on charges of theft and breaking and entering.

According to Athens County Prosecutor Keller Blackburn, James Fayette, 42, allegedly took $1,000 worth of Star Bricks from another person between May 24 and June 2 of this year.  

Judge Alan Goldsberry set Fayette's bond at $1,000.  

A jury trial is set for December 6.
