UPDATE: Fatal School Bus Accident In Ross County
< < Back to fatal-school-bus-accident-ross-county-2The name of the driver of a vehicle that collided with a school bus in Ross County has been released.
Ross County Sheriff's Deputies say James Hill of Bainbridge died yesterday afternoon after crashing with the Paint Valley Local Schools bus.
At least 11 students were taken to hospitals but the sheriff's office says the student injuries were not life-threatening.
About two dozen other students were returned to their school on a different bus and released to their parents.
Col. Jeff Keener says the injuries were "bumps, bruises and scrapes" and some students may need stitches.
The bus was traveling from a kindergarten through 12th-grade facility.
District Superintendent Gary Uhrig says the bus carried about 40 children.
