Prescription Drug Related Manhunt Ends In Oklahoma
< < Back to prescription-drug-related-manhunt-ends-oklahomaA nationwide search for a man facing drug, racketeering and money laundering charges in West Virginia has ended in Oklahoma.
David Kidd, 43, of Martins Ferry, Ohio, was apprehended Thursday morning.
U.S. Deputy Marshal Chad Simpson says Kidd fled when Arkansas authorities tried to stop the blue Lincoln Town Car he was driving.
The chase continued nearly 40 miles into Oklahoma, where the highway patrol forced his vehicle off the road.
A warrant was issued for Kidd's arrest Oct. 8 and his name was placed into a national fugitive database after a probation officer discovered he absconded from his court-ordered home confinement.
Kidd is charged with bringing hundreds of thousands of pills from Florida and South Carolina into the Ohio Valley for illegal redistribution.
