Search Fails For New Scripps College Dean – Titsworth Gets Extension

The search for a new dean for the Scripps College of Communication has broken down.
In a letter to the faculty and staff of the the Scripps College of Communication, OU Provost Pam Benoit said she made an offer to one of the candidates but could not come to terms on employment.
Benoit said she elected not to make an offer to the second candidate and has instead extended the interim appointment of Scott Titsworth for an additional year.
Benoit said the search will continue.
