Elderly Coolville Woman Says She Was Sleeping At Time Of Attack

Ota Vincent told an Athens County 911 operator that she went to sleep and the next thing she remembers was "a light shining" in her face.
Vincent told the dispatcher that she was bleeding from her head and they took her pocketbook.
Vincent is now at a Columbus hospital in stable condition.
Sheriff Pat Kelly says she was taken to Grant Medical Center due to the nature of her stab wounds.
Kelly says Vincent called 911 around noon yesterday and reported someone entered her Brandeberry Road home..
Her purse has about $300 in it.
Kelly says robbery and theft of drugs is the suspected motive.
