Meigs County Escaped Inmate Captured

Meigs County Sheriff Robert Beegle says an inmate who escaped Monday afternoon was caught that evening.
David McDaniel, 27, escaped during a shift change.
He was caught in Middleport, which is in Meigs County.
McDaniel now faces an additional charge of escape.
