Vinton County Fatal Fire Victim Identified
< < Back to vinton-county-fatal-fire-victim-identifiedThe Ohio State Fire Marshal's Office is seeking tips connected to a fatal fire in Vinton County Wednesday morning.
Investigators have identified the victim as Thomas Hagerty, 59.
Debris from the fire is now at the Division of State Fire Marshal's Forensic Laboratory as officials continue to search for the cause and origin of the blaze.
Anyone with information, or who was in the area of 59973 U.S. Route 50 between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. Wednesday is asked to call the Vinton County Sheriff's office at 740-596-5242.
Officers are talking with family, neighbors, witnesses and first responders as the investigation continues.
