Washington State Community College (WSCC) will showcase the creativity, talent, and dedication of its current and former art students with the premiere of the WSCC Student and Alumni Art Show on Friday, March 30 at the Parkersburg Art Center in West Virginia.
Ten WSCC students and alumni are presenting 20 pieces of artwork, including paintings, drawings, sketches, sculpture and photography.
Several of the participating artists will attend the show’s premiere, along with WSCC Art Instructor John Crum.
"This is a great opportunity for our students to show off their work and for the entire mid-Ohio valley community to see what WSCC has to offer," said Crum.
The show will premiere at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 30 in the Esbenshade Gallery of the Parkersburg Art Center, coinciding with a Harley Davidson-themed exhibit premiere in the Main Gallery at 7:15 p.m. Born to Run: Defining American Graphic Design will feature large and expensive bikes and biking paraphernalia. The exhibit will run through April 28.
