Lancaster Company Plans To Hire 300

Representatives will be at the Work Station in the Plains from noon to 3 p.m. on Wednesday to talk to people interested in the work.
Athens County Job and Family Services says the jobs at Anchor Hocking Company will start off as temporary positions through December.
Christy Steinmetz with the hiring agency iforce says about 150 will be able to keep their jobs into next year based on job performance.
She says those hired will be packing and inspecting glassware in a fast-paced environment.
Salaries start at $8.50 an hour with the potential to make up to $13 an hour.
Steinmetz says they're looking for folks with high school diplomas, clean criminal backgrounds, and stable work histories.
The Work Station is located at 70 North Plains Road.
