61-year-old Kenneth Yerian died Monday, after being hospitalized for a heat-related illness at an area hospital.
Police broke down the door to Yerian's house after neighbors said that they heard no response from the man.
Officers said that it had reached about 104 degrees inside Yerian's home, which is located on Superior Street in Zanesville.
The Licking County Coroner's Office confirmed three heat-related deaths earlier this week.
Three elderly residents all died inside their homes, each of which had lost power in thunderstorms earlier in the month.
