Police Looking For Origins Of Bagged Hair
< < Back to police-looking-origins-bagged-hairBags of human hair found last year in a Perry County home are from the head and body of multiple people.
Junction City Police Department Chief Amy Nash English says the hair was analyzed by chemical and DNA analysis.
Authorities say police dogs searched the premises of the home, but found no bodies.
John Moore lived in the house before being placed in a secured residential facility for advanced dementia last year.
State agents from the Ohio Bureau of Investigation and Identification say the hair is not believed to be related to a crime.
They believe he collected it from barber shops and used it as fertilizer for gardening.
Junction City Police are still investigating the origins of the hair.
