Cambridge Police Chief Dick Wayt asked finance to approve the sale of two 2006 Chevy Impala police cruisers to the Byesville Police Department for $300 per car.
Finance approved the proposal saying they were fine with it as long as no liability is attached to the city for condition or performance of the cars.
Final approval of the of the sale of the cars must first be approved at a meeting of the full City Council before the transaction can take place.
