Section Of Eastbound Lanes To Open Next Week On Nelsonville Bypass
< < Back toOhio Department of Transportation officials say a section of eastbound lanes are scheduled to open next week on the Nelsonville Bypass project.
Phase Two Project Engineer Audrey Seals says there should be traffic on the eastbound lanes by October 11 as long as weather permits.
The eastbound lanes are part of Phase Two of the project, which is expected to open in its entirety by the end of November. The department opened westbound lanes to traffic in September.
Eastbound traffic will enter the bypass at ODOT's tie-in from the current U.S. 33 four-lane on the West end of the project toward Logan.
The traffic will exit the bypass at the ramp onto West Interchange Road, enter the roundabout and continue left into Nelsonville.
The entire project is scheduled to be completed in September 2013.
