For the first time in years, the Federal Hocking Lancers are ready to make some noise in the TVC-Hocking. Entering tomorrow night’s contest with Wahama, the Lancers stand at 5-1 (4-0 TVC-Hocking) and are in second place in the league right behind the White Falcons.

Friday will be Federal Hocking’s best shot to take down Wahama since the White Falcons joined the TVC-Hocking in 2010. Wahama has been rolling through their season so far as they enter Friday night’s contest at 6-0. The White Falcons have yet to lose a conference game in their two and a half seasons in the TVC-Hocking and have rolled over TVC-Hocking contenders Trimble and Eastern already this year.

The Lancers are the last team in Wahama’s that should provide the White Falcons a legitimate challenge in conference play. Federal Hocking displays a nice balanced attack that has been key to their offensive success so far in 2012.

Lancers quarterback Kyle Jackson is 60-for-111 on the year for 802 yards and 10 touchdowns. If he can put forth another big game, look for the Lancers to give Wahama a competitive contest.

Friday night’s matchup has all the makings of an exciting game and will go down as one of the biggest TVC-Hocking games of the year as it will help decide these teams’ fates for the rest of the season.
