Cross Country: Accurso Finishes 38th In NCAA Championships
< < Back to cross-country-accurso-finishes-38th-ncaa-championshipsJuli Accurso completed her impressive season by finishing 38th out of 253 runners with a time of 20:14 at the NCAA Championships on Saturday. Her performance on the six-kilometer course earned her All-America honors.
Accurso is accustomed to receiving recognition for her efforts, as this is the second straight year she was named an All-American. She was also named the Great Lakes Region Runner of the Year after her victory at the Great Lakes Regional.
Oregon took home the women's team championship. Betsy Saina, a senior from Iowa State, won the individual championship with a time of 19:27.
The Oklahoma State team won the men’s National Championship. Texas Tech junior Kennedy Kithuka won the individual men’s championship with a time of 28:31.
