Woman Allegedly Robs Blind Elderly Woman

A woman faces several charges after admitting to West Virginia State Police that she stole from a 94-year-old blind woman she used to work for as a nurse.
26-year-old Sarah Ward of Huntington is charged with petit larceny and conspiring to commit a felony, among others.
Police said took Heaberlin's checkbook and cashed three checks totaling five hundred and thirty dollars.
Ward told State Police she stole the money because she wanted to give Heaberlin's great-grandson, Jay McFeeley a better place to stay instead of living on the streets.
Police say the crime is motivated by drugs.
