Middleport Man Sentenced On Workers’ Comp Fraud

A Franklin County Common Pleas Court judge ordered Charles Morris Jr. to pay back $30,000.
Morris, of Middleport, pleaded guilty to fraud in November.
He was accused of collecting disability benefits while continuing to work as an HVAC technician as the owner/operator of Chuck's Heating and Cooling.
According to the bureau, an injured worker cannot work and receive benefits.
Morris was sentenced last week.
