Winter Weather Advisory For Region Stretches Into Friday Morning

Three seperate accidents shut down the west bound lane of Route 33. At least one of the accident had minor injuries.
Dispatchers say there have been a handful of minor accidents across the region due to slick road conditions.
Drivers are advised to use caution and leave extra time to reach their morning destinations as a storm system bringing sleet and freezing rain moves through Southeast Ohio.
A winter weather advisory for much of the region remains in effect until 11 a.m. Friday.
Less than a tenth of an inch of ice accumulation is expected, and untreated roadways may be slippery.
