Ambulance Crash Sends Three To Hospital

Sgt. Schuldt of the the Ohio State Highway Patrol says 49-year-old Alfred Lyons of Pomeroy was driving the ambulance and went left of center just before 8 p.m. on Route 7 in Cheshire.
Lyons hit Charles Kearns,75, of Mason County, WV and then Michelle Folmer,35, of Pomeroy collided on a chain reaction.
Schuldt says Lyons is at fault and was given a citation for a lane change violation.
Kearns and Folmer were treated and released at Holzer Medical Center.
Lyons was transferred to Pleasant Valley Hospital with possible injuries.
Schuldt says he is unsure if Lyons was responding to a call or not.
The crash is still under investigation.
