Man Dies After Being Struck By Steel Beam

The state says an Ohio worker has been killed while working on a bridge replacement project along Interstate 70 east of Columbus.
Micah Montgomery,34, of Waverly died after being struck by a steel beam Friday.
ODOT District 5 Deputy Director Joe Rutherford told the newspaper the accident occurred as a crane was being used to move the beam at a work site along the highway south of Hebron. Rutherford said he wasn't sure what went wrong. Workplace safety investigators were on the scene.
The Licking County coroner's office confirmed the death.
