The Athens Messenger reports that Farmer's Bank on State Route 7 reported at 3:51 p.m. that it had been robbed of an undisclosed amount of money by an unknown person. He has brown hair and facial hair in the form of a small goatee.
After the robbery, the suspect fled in what may be an older model red or marron four-door car.

Friday, Sgt. Bill Gilkey told The Messenger that there have been no further updates in the case but did add that no one was injured in the incident.
Surveillance cameras were able to capture an image of the suspect.
