State officials say they're working to close an eastern Ohio nursing home after an investigation by the state attorney general's office found evidence of suspected patient neglect.

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine on Thursday said the license of Autumn Healthcare of Zanesville will be revoked in 60 days.

The facility declined to comment.

DeWine said Ohio Department of Heath inspections also found substandard care at the 100-bed nursing home. The department has recommended the federal government cease Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements to the facility.

With families' permission, state investigators installed hidden cameras in multiple patients' rooms. DeWine said the video showed instances where some staff members did not provide proper care to at least one patient.

He said a criminal investigation into the alleged patient neglect is ongoing.
