Teen Unresponsive After Smoking Synthetic Marijuana

A witness told Athens County Sherriff's deputies that for $20, the 18-year-old had purchased two grams of a substance called "deathgrip," which is believed to be a synthetic form of marijuana from a headshop in Athens.
The man allegedly had a seizure after smoking the substance before becoming unresponsive.
The substance has been sent to the lab to be identified.
The incident is under investigation.
