“Parks And Recreation” Star Coming to OU
< < Back to parks-and-recreation-star-coming-ouThe Ohio University Performing Arts Series will present comedian Nick Offerman on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 8 p.m. in Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium.
Best known for his role as Ron Swanson on NBC’s critically acclaimed Parks & Recreation, Nick Offerman’s humor has made him a fixture in television culture.
Offerman received the Television Critics Association Award for Achievement in Comedy in 2011, after a previous nomination in 2010 for his work on the Emmy Award-nominated program. The Critic’s Choice Awards also nominated him for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy for 2011.
Some of Offerman’s latest projects on the big screen include two major comedies, Casa De Mi Padre and 21 Jump Street. He’s also hit the film festival scene, with Smashed debuting at the Sundance Film Festival, while Somebody Up There Likes Me, which he both produced and starred in, premiered at the South By Southwest Festival in March 2012.
The Concert Connection pre-sale takes place July 11-12. Tickets must be purchased directly through the Memorial Auditorium ticket office either by phone (740-593-1780) or in person.
