Goalkeeper Walker Earns MAC Defensive Player Of The Week

Ohio Field Hockey goalkeeper Brittany Walker earned Mid-American Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors after her strong performance this weekend in Evanston, Ill.
Walker led the Bobcats to a 1-1 record over the weekend while recording a 0.64 goals against average and .889 save percentage.
Walker made three saves and posted her first shutout of the season as the ‘Cats defeated Cal 1-0 on Saturday.
The Elizabethtown, Pa., native then allowed just one goal while making five saves in Ohio’s 1-0 loss to No. 12 Northwestern on Sunday.
The Bobcats will take the field next on Saturday when they travel to Bloomington, In., to face the Indiana Hoosiers.
