< < Back to pediatric-addiction-recovery-center-seeks-donationsDonated items are being sought for a pediatric addiction recovery center scheduled to open soon in Huntington.
Marshall's Office of Community Engagement is asking the community to drop off the items at the Memorial Student Center lobby between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday.
Office director Elizabeth Appell Sheets says the items in need are baby laundry detergent, baby powder with cornstarch, baby bath gel, baby lotion, wipes, newborn and size one diapers, pacifiers, gloves and file folders.
The items will benefit the privately operated Lily's Place, which will wean infants off opiates and other drugs.
Sheets says the treatment center is scheduled to open next Sunday.
