Two Ohio Bobcats earned College Sports Madness All-Mid-American Conference preseason honors this weekend. Senior guard Nick Kellogg and junior guard Javarez Willis were named to the site's third and fourth teams respectively.

Kellogg finished 13th in the MAC last season with 1.6 3-pointers made per game, and fourth on the Bobcats with 8.0 points per contest. He started 33 of 34 games in 2012 and needs just 72 3-pointers this season to become Ohio's all-time leader in that category. Kellogg's season-high in 3-pointers is 85. The 'Cats were 13-4 in games last season when Kellogg hit two or more shots from downtown.

Willis, who sat out the 2012-2013 season, will be making his first appearance for the Bobcats after transferring from Texas Tech. The junior started 30 of 31 games as a Red Raider during his sophomore season and finished second on the team in assists and fourth in scoring at 8.1 points per game. Ohio expects Willis to fill big shoes in 2013 with the graduation of D.J. Cooper, its all-time leader in assists.

Ohio kicks off its 2013-2014 season at home with a scrimmage against Ashland University on Nov. 2. Tipoff from the Convocation Center is set for 2 p.m.
