Meigs Local Schools Board Member Unofficial Results

The unofficial results are in to decide who is elected to the Meigs Local Schools Board of Education.

Ryan Mahr received the most votes of the five candidates, with 1,006, and 25 percent of the vote.

The race for the second and final board member spot was extremely close, separated by only five votes.

Ron Logan received 949 votes to edge out Heather Hawley, who had 944 votes.

James Acree Sr. received 600 votes and David Hoover rounded out the five with 579 votes.

The results will not be official until the Meigs County Board of Elections certifies the votes at a later date.
