No Upsets Recorded For Morgan County

Voter turnout in Morgan County is down 20 percent from last year.

Unofficial election numbers from Morgan County show only 40 percent of registered voters casting their ballots this year.

Carl Raines, Rebecca Thompson and Homer Weekly are all re-elected to the Morgan County School Board.

Voters approved the Mental and Health Recovery Programs Renewal tax levy for .8 mills for 10 years.

It provides for the operation of mental health and recovery programs in the county.

The OSU Extension Additional tax levy also passed for .8 mills for 5 years.

The levy will provide revenue to the Morgan County OSU Extension fund to providing programs and services.

These services include 4-H youth development, agriculture and natural resources, community development, and family and consumer services.
