Feightner Withdraws From Race For Licking County Commissioner

The 54-year-old Feightner started his new job as a regional sales manager for the Ohio Lottery this week.
Feightner said of running for public office: "They say it is a conflict, and I'm going to do what they say. It's a great opportunity for me."
Feightner submitted his notice of withdrawal to the Licking County Board of Elections this afternoon.
Three other Republicans remain in the race for county commissioner:
The May 6 primary winner is to face Democrat Mark VanBuren, a Harrison Township trustee and former county commissioner, and Libertarian Jim Snedden.
