Child Advocacy Conference Held In Morgantown

The West Virginia Child Advocacy Network is wrapping up its first statewide conference at Lakeview Resort in Morgantown.
About 160 professionals are attending the conference, which began Thursday and offers updates and training in areas such as counseling, domestic violence and social work.
Among the scheduled speakers Friday are U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin. He plans to discuss a pilot project aimed at preventing and easing the impact of trauma on children exposed to violence
