Three Teens Killed In Licking County Crash
< < Back to three-teens-killed-licking-county-crashThe State Highway Patrol says three teenagers riding in the back seat of a car were killed after the speeding vehicle went off the road and struck a tree in central Ohio.
The patrol's Granville post says the teenage driver and a front seat passenger were also injured in the Thursday afternoon accident.
The patrol says none of the car's five occupants were wearing seatbelts.
The patrol identified the teens who were killed as 17-year-old Michael Hoskinson, 15-year-old Linzie Bell and 15-year-old Cheyenne Spurgeon, all of Johnstown.
The patrol says the driver, 16-year-old Jaylynn Rigio, and the front-seat passenger, 16-year-old Ashton Cody, both also of Johnstown, were taken to Columbus hospitals.
The accident happened in Liberty Township in Licking County near Alexandria, about 35 miles east of Columbus.
