Activity has decreased significantly at Ohio Gamma's Sigma Alpha Epsilon house. The number of member living at the house has gone from 43 to 19 in just seven days. This is because SAE recently suspended or expelled 58% of their members. WOUB received an anonymous letter from a member of the fraternity that both describes and defends the accusations SAE is currently facing. These include two charges of hazing, damage to the chapter house, underage drinking, drug use and member arrests. Only 11% of the members are still able to fully participate in the chapter. Reports of hazing earlier this semester prompted the membership review. Following the review, roughly 65% of SAE members are being forced to find housing two weeks before finals with no assistance from the university, despite being told otherwise. These members must be out of the by Saturday, November 22 or face the consequences, which have not yet been set.
