The ninth annual Hoopla in the Hills music festival has moved out of Athens County and will be held at Frontier Ranch in Pataskala (Licking County) this week.

For many years the event was held at Poston Lake Music Center near Stewart before moving last year to The Venue on Route 56, just outside of Athens.

Headlining this year’s festival will be Papadosio, The Werks, EOTO, Bill Nershi & The Travelin’ McCourys, Badfish (Sublime tribute), Ott., Zoogma, Chris Berry & The Flow featuring Jason Han, Jahman Brahman, VibeSquaD, Any Colour (Pink Floyd tribute), Kaminanda, The Recipe, Mike Perkins & John Zuck, and many more.

The four-day festival will begin on Thursday and wrap up on Sunday. Tickets will be available at the gate. Cost is $140 for Thursday-Sunday, $120 for Friday-Sunday and $80 for Saturday only.
