Police Searching for Suspect in Glouster Robbery

The Glouster Police Department is searching for the suspect in an alleged armed robbery at a gas station.

Glouster Mayor Miles Wolf released a statement in reference to an alleged incident that occurred Friday at 9:44 p.m. at the Certified Gas Station on High Street.

“According to witnesses, a white male entered the store, walked to the cooler area, waited for another customer to leave the establishment, and then approached the clerk at the checkout area,” Wolf wrote in the statement.

The suspect allegedly brandished a handgun, demanded cash and fled on foot with approximately $75. Police say the man is described at having work blue jeans, a blue button-up shirt and a ball cap.

Canine unit Ruko from the McArthur Police Department was used to attempt to locate the suspect, but was unable to locate him. The case remains under investigation.
