NELSONVILLE – The Inn at Hocking College is planning a capital campaign to raise funds to re-establish hotel rooms and use space to create a Workforce Development and Training Center.

According to Hocking College Vice President of Administrative Services, Myriah Davis, the goal is to raise $1.2 million to build 40 guest rooms.

The guest rooms will be open to the public and for people in training at the center.

The Workforce Development and Training Center intends to help small businesses and companies with technology and educational training.

The training center project is being funded with $1.25 million in state capital funds.

The project is expected to be completed by August 2016.
